Working with Madsen, Kneppers & Associates, Inc., Rewerts performed comprehensive investigations to assess the extent of damage caused to the exterior facade of this multi-story hotel in Pensacola during both the passage of Hurricane Opal in 1995, and then Hurricane Ivan in 2004.  The latter engagement included an architectural and engineering assessment to determine why the hotel experienced extensive water infiltration through most of the exterior windows.  This included in-situ water testing on the side of the building at selected locations, performed with the assistance of our subcontractor, Raths, Raths & Johnson, Inc.
