New Orleans Ship Accident


Structural engineering investigation to determine the extent of damage caused to a number of structures along the riverbank in New Orleans, when a large ocean going vessel broke loose from its mooring on the opposite side of the Mississippi River and drifted without power until it made impact with these structures.  This caused extensive, major structural damage to the affected structures.
