We recently completed a five year architectural and structural engineering program associated with the comprehensive $3.5 million restoration of the historic Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, MO. This project included many aspects, with the most prominent being the restoration of the highly ornamental architectural cast stone around the perimeter of the entire complex.

The restoration contractor for this project was Concrete & Masonry Restoration, Inc., Kansas City, MO; the cast stone fabricator and supplier was Pacific Cast Stone, Lincoln, NE; the ornamental concrete subcontractor was The City Cement Co., Kansas City, MO; the coating contractor was the A.T. Switzer Painting Co., Kansas City, MO; the existing coating removal contractor was Blast-it Clean, Kansas City, MO; the subcontractor providing access equipment and cranes was Midwest Crane & Rigging, LLC, Olathe, KS. Primary material suppliers included BASF Corporation, Cathedral Stone Products, Inc., and Cintec International, LTD. The primary testing subcontractor was TERRACON, Lenexa, KS.
