Apollo Towers, Clay Center, KS

We performed a comprehensive investigation to determine the causes of unusual punching shear and flexural cracking of cantilevered sections of the concrete floor slabs in this multi story residential building which was under renovation.  We also designed a unique system of supplemental structural steel supports to alleviate the loads from the damaged floor sections.
