The Hartzfeld Building, Kansas City, MO

Performed a comprehensive, hands-on structural engineering evaluation to determine the condition of the two primary facades on this historic high rise building in downtown Kansas City. Both facades included in this work were clad exclusively with architectural terra cotta. The building was designed by noted Kansas City architect John McKecknie, and was constructed in 1913.
